Learn to cook authentic Italian dishes, having fun and making friends for life, all while staying in Torre del Tartufo with the added bonus of improving your posture, stability through exercises and yoga.

Morning Fitness and Yoga

The morning fitness and yoga sessions start at 10:00 and last till about 12:00, so you arrive at lunch feeling supple and relaxed.   The exercises will take place in the garden in the shade and as the villa is at an altitude of 550meters even in August this will be very comfortable.  All you need to bring is yoga leggings or shorts and a tshirt!

Afternoon Italian cooking classes

The cooking lessons start at 15:00 and take four hours and then you have one hour to relax and freshen up for dinner.You will dine on your creations accompanied by delicious wines to compliment the dishes. We introduce you each evening to different red and white wines from different regions of Italy.  

The fitness and yoga sessions are a free optional extra in August and if you prefer not to participate or want to go sightseeing on your own you are of course free to do so.  

The first day
  • Arrival at Florence airport
    We can arrange transfers to and from Florence airport on request.
  • Check-in at the villa from 16:00 onwards
  • Welcoming dinner at 20:00
    Introduction given by the chef and a chance to get to know each other.
Second day
  • Breakfast
  • Morning free to relax and enjoy the villa
  • Light lunch for those who are present
  • First Cooking lesson starts at 15:00

Third day
  • Buffet breakfast
  • Fitness exercises for mobility , stability and posture 10:00 - 11:00
  • Yoga and Meditation 11:00-12:00
  • Light lunch for those who are present at 13:00
  • Second Cooking class – starts at 15:00

Fourth day
  • Breakfast
  • Departure culinary excursion

You will get the opportunity to taste special produce of the region, accompanied by your Guest Relations Manager, and travel in an air-conditioned bus. We start with an olive oil and wine tasting at an Oil and Wine Farm in Casentino before driving to a boutique winery for an exclusive tour and wine tasting in this truly unique wine estate.   Following the wine tasting you will drive into the hills of Anghiari for lunch and a meat and cheese tasting at a farm.  On your way back home, after lunch, you will stop in the picturesque town of Anghiari. For those interested you can visit a unique textile factory or, enjoy a gelato in the square or maybe take a stroll.  After an exciting, fun-filled day there will be a light, informal dinner back at the villa.

Sixth day
  • Breakfast
  • Free day

On the free day, only breakfast is served.  After breakfast you have the day to yourselves to do some sightseeing or just enjoy the peaceful surroundings. This is an ideal day to take a trip to Florence or Siena for shopping and sightseeing  Tip: Our guide can organize and accompany your group on excursions in the area. You also have the option to stay at the villas and relax at the pool or take a soak in the Hot Tub.
Lunch and dinner reservations can be made at a restaurant of your choice.

Seventh day
  • Breakfast
  • Fitness exercises for strengthening muscles and joints 10:30 - 11:30
  • Stretching 11:30-12:00
  • Light lunch for those who are present at 13:30
  • Final cooking lesson – starts at 15:00
  • You prepare an elaborate dinner covering all the cooking techniques you have learnt during the week and more. Presentation of food will be demonstrated
