“Beyond our wildest expectations”

We included 7 days at Casa Ombuto in our 18 day holiday to Italy. Some friends of ours, who had been there a few years earlier, were actually making a return trip.
It is difficult to know where to start. From the moment we arrived, till the moment we left, no detail of the time was less than 10/10. The staff were both professional, and welcoming. Barbara, the manager, told us on day one that we needed to just feel like this was our home, and everyone of us in the group (14 in total) would agree that it felt like home.
One cannot mention this trip without mentioning the chef, Paola. She made this a great learning experience, and fun beyond description. Organized, accomodating, helpful, a great teacher who taught with passion, and a terrific sense of humor, to top it off.
suffice it to say, the location is also spectacular. We hiked, ate, drank, worked in the kitchen. All meals were provided, including wines, and other beveridges. If you wanted something else to eat or drink between meals, go to th ekitchen and take what you want.
