A lovely experience
This is a lovely villa in a beautiful setting. The scenery is beautiful and the facilities are charming and very comfortable . The cooking venue and schedule was a bit ambitious for us but all the ingredients were fresh and local. They had a day of tours scheduled for all day Wednesday which we really enjoyed. Local olive oil, Soaps, then wine tasting at a Villa Ripa with the owner hosting us. Then off to lunch at a local cheese farm. These were all local farmers/owners. On Friday, Lena assisted us in a full day tour in Sienna/Montepulciano. There also were some nice hiking and walking trails that we enjoyed. A very well rounded experience overall! I would likely have rated my experience higher but the Chef and assistant chef as well as one of the managers were diagnosed with Covid. They had very careful screening and appropriate follow up and we appreciated it. Unfortunately that meant a series of replacement chefs so the cooking sessions were a bit chaotic. Also ,there are a few things about the kitchen set up that created congestion such as the the stove top and oven access . A special thanks to the General manager Alex who made an extraordinary effort to keep things enjoyable, organized and even joined us in the kitchen. Lena was also great when she returned from Covid quarantine. Overall a very well balanced , charming and enjoyable experience.

Thank you kindly for taking this time to write this elaborate review and we are pleased to read you had an enjoyable experience. The kitchen was indeed a little chaotic as we had chefs from other villas come to take over last minute and its not their normal kitchen! But luckily we managed to keep you all safe and the program went uninterrupted. Happy cooking and We look forward to welcoming you to Tuscany!
