This is a not to be missed trip, whether you are a fan of cooking or not. This Villa is incredibly beautiful, and the owners, have gone to great pains to make sure nothing has been overlooked. You are told to make yourself at home here - and that is exactly what you do - until the sad day comes when your vacation ends. You have the use of the entire villa - from the beautiful infinity pool, spa and wood burning hot tub, to the spacious rooms with fireplaces, well appointed baths, and views that cannot be described. You have your mornings free, after a prepared breakfast, and then you work very hard with your fellow students learning the fine art of Tuscan cooking. For dinner, you dine on your creations - meals that are so delightful that you will swear you have never tasted better food in your life. You will also meet people from all over the world that you will share this experience with - and they will become family to you, as will Franco, Paolo, Ryan, and Barbara - your gracious hosts during your stay. Our group was from Austria, China, Canada, and the States - and each person in the group was a delight to be around. This was a present to my wife, who is a great cook - but I think I had at least as much fun in the cooking classes as she did! I do suggest renting a car, as this is a rather isolated villa, and you can see so much during your free time. Make SURE you get a good Italy GPS (they are always out at the rental car companies). Download the maps before you go. Getting to the Villa by car from Florence was a breeze.
Room Tip: All of the rooms are great, with great views.
