We had planned to visit lots of nearby places in the early part of each day as the cooking classes didn't start until 3 pm, but we were so charmed by the villa, we rarely left it, except to take a walk around the area. The villa is a beautiful, well-cared for place, quite out of the way and peaceful. The chef, Franco, is an amazing chef and teacher. He has a dry wit and an easy smile and we learned much from him. The staff were very helpful and made our stay very special. We came in a group of six, but bonded with the other 8 guests and had a great time. In fact, we will never forget it. I'm sure the others that week feel the same.
