This was an amazing experience. The location is a little off the beaten path but not bad, it was very serene and relaxing. The chef for this Italian Cooking Class is a truly remarkable woman "Paola".... Our group was only 5 folks yet she had us working like a well oiled machine in no time. Paola was able to work within each of our talents and helped us all grow in our cooking skills and confidence. I would do this again if for no other reason than to be further trained by this remarkable woman.... We made no less than 10 items every day. There was also plenty of time every day to go tour the surrounding area or just relax by the beautiful pool area.
There was also a full day excursion into the city of Arezzo, we also got to visit a winery with a 1000 year old home, cheese shop, olive oil farm and a linen factory. It also happened to be my birthday, needless to say it was an extremely memorable one. The staff was most impressive, there was no request they did not fulfill, Alex and Lena were the perfect hosts. There are not enough words to express my respect and admiration for our Chef, Paola, I would do this again if for no other reason than to be further trained by this remarkable woman....
Stayed June 2016, traveled solo
