I am now very motivated to learn more on how to cook Italian food

Paola Baccetti, the Chef at Casa Ombuto, has so inspired me to really start cooking, and to cook simple and sometimes more complex, healthy, delicious meals with beautiful presentations. She is funny, very intuitive, a little crazy with crazy hair and crazy chef jackets, and very patient and friendly but firm in her overseeing 10 or more people in a great kitchen. And the accommodations at Casa Ombuto, are wonderful!! My room had a balcony, with a view of the valley, private bathrooms, a pool, wet and dry saunas, massage availability, more than enough food and beverages available at all times. Also there were wonderful outdoor seating areas around the grounds, with large pots of herbs, 2 wonderful gardens we plundered, and all set in the most peaceful of places. We had a great field trip day, visiting various gastronomic places, as well as some great sightseeing. And then we had a free day to make our own plans. I opted to stay in the peace and quiet of the Casa, and really enjoyed my day. You will not be disappointed, and hopefully will come away with a new perspective on food, eating, cooking and relaxing as I did!! I will be back, Paola, get ready!!! TZ
