Everything we expected and more!
After much hesitation because of Covid concerns, we decided to take our trip to Tuscookany that was originally planned for October 2020. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at Casa Ombuto.. The people, the food, the location, the hands on cooking classes, and the villa itself. Everything is done to perfection. A huge thank you to Lars and Pippa for making us feel like guests in their home, rather than paying customers. Thanks to our chef, Laura, who was so patient and kind with our lack of cooking skills. Thank you to Alex who spent a day driving us to various venues for wine and olive oil tasting, as well as lunch at a cheese makers farmhouse. We left Casa Ombuto with very full stomachs, heads full of amazing recipes, and a heartfelt thank you for experiencing this magical place.
