We had the most lovely week in Tuscany with Laura and Sheana.

The villa is absolutely beautiful and in the most picturesque location. The bedrooms are lovely and each is unique, and the outdoor kitchen and dining table are a special treat.

The real heart of Bellorcia, however, is Laura and her passionate cooking lessons. I was amazed at the end of each meal that we cooked and then devoured how much we had learned and the incredible high quality of the food we prepared. I have never eaten so well in my life. Laura is a wonderful, hands-on teacher whose enthusiasm about cooking, fresh local produce, and whose pride in her region's dishes is absolutely contagious. She gave each student individual attention while also keeping a watchful eye on the entire kitchen. We made many multi-course meals and each participant had the opportunity to try cooking different parts of the meals. It was a truly immersive experience.

I attended the Tuscookany program alone and was nervous that I would feel lonely during the week in the villa. I was totally wrong. The villa and the Tuscookany program are absolutely conducive to forming close bonds with the other members of the program as well as the teacher and host. I had an excellent time with my fellow classmates and remain in contact with some.

Overall the Bellorcia program was better than I could have hoped and I would recommend it without hesitation.
